Yes, I CAN imagine that world, Ares. There was a whole miniseries revolving around that idea called Torchwood: Miracle Day?

I love my Percy Jackson though but I am a little scared about the new film. The first one was EXTREMELY LOOSELY BASED on the source material and this one seems no better although bonus Nathan Fillion. I am torn though because I do want to see Talia, Nico and Bianca someday. This isn't just because they're awesome but because I'm sure they would use Nico to make Kid!Loki manips on Tumblr.

I don't have a problem with the liberties taken actually. It's better than the HP films where they try but fail to be just like the books and deviate in the wrong ways.
I have a bone to pick in that its established that mt Olympus is in the most powerful western country but then mentions the American civil war and george washington. And which country was most powerful until about WW2? Not America! Britain!
