I'm really loving the Youtube animator OnlyLeigh. She did Thorested Development and all of these...anyone find it interesting how Russell T. Davies fell off the face of the planet? It's not like he hasn't been doing shows and such but no one mentions him anymore except the hardcore Doctor Who/Torchwood people.

I mention this because no one ever mentions him anymore with regards to killing off characters and to me, he will always be the worst because unless your name's Jack or Rose, you're never coming back. At least Joss and Steve tends to bring them back somehow after they kill them horribly. Agents of SHIELD anyone?

It's funny because it's true.

IIRC RTD's partner is having severe medical issues and he's basically retired to do caretaking stuff.

He is still writing though since he did Wizards vs Aliens since then and he did two episodes for Old Jack's Boat...but I've hardly heard a peep about either.

I will admit though that I started watching Wizards vs Aliens on the Hub but got bored and dropped it.

Wizards vs Aliens was a commitment he had made prior to finding out about his husband's illness and the two Old Jack's Boat episodes were probably just a quick thing he did for Bernard's sake. RTD has always been a champion of children's television. But apart from that he's pretty much stopped writing to take care of his husband, here's the interview he did about it in 2011.
There's actually been a lot of RTD material lately in the Doctor Who world what with the Doctor Forever! series of documentaries on the Classic Who DVD releases, plus the commentaries he did with Katy Manning for The Green Death one, and the interviews he's done with DWM over the past couple of issues on the story of how the series was brought back.

There were a lot of complaining about how Moffat doesn't kill people after The Name of the Doctor because of the Jenny stuff. I'm just appalled that in the whole Moffat era there hasn't been a single Dalek extermination lol.

RTD was pretty bad with killing character, but I think Moffat goes too far in the opposite direction. Nobody ever stays dead.

THESE VIDEOS! WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN ALL MY LIFE! i laughed SO hard at the "fangirls" one. OMG. The Smallville fan!! The loki cosplayer, ahahah. Loved how the Hannibal fangirls were new. I had to subscribe to her channel.
