So, this happened when Benedict Cumberbatch was asked about dancing with Tom Hiddleston and Michael Fassbender...

Oh, that brings so many mental images in my head...

The Oscars themselves had about half the Avengers, yay! I think it would be cool if Chris Evans keeps the beard at first because Steve's gone rogue...although my mom didn't like that or Jeremy Renner's goatee and we both didn't like Elsa Pataky's dress...I was totally surprised she even showed up. I'd be like, you have fun and get a babysitter so I can have spa/relaxing me time because TWINS.

They showed two or three ads for Agents of SHIELD and they were for the whole rest of the season so it included SIF!!!!! I was so happy.

When Ellen did the selfie, my mom joked, "Look, you can see all the lice jumping around."
Stupid local radio shows...

Of course, the best part of Oscar night is always Jimmy Kimmel Live! and while last year was a little subpar, this year made up for it with this skit with Chris and Liam Hemsworth:

Check out the other videos...Kevin Spacey plays Keyboard Cat in a Mozart parody along with Gary Oldman, Ben Kingsley and Christoph Waltz. It's called Ameowdeus.

EDIT: Samuel L. Jackson just proved once again how cool an Avengers musical would be in a parody of "David goes to the Dentist". Yes, he sang "Novocaine for the Soul" and it was awesome.

Kevin Spacey just got his own website crashed because he said it had a clip of 15 year old Jimmy Kimmel on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson so everyone went and now no one can watch it.

Also, just because...

I think Arrow is the new Merlin where every episode has to have either shirtlessness or tight clothing just because...
and I'm totally okay with that.

Chris Evans came right after Benedict Cumberbatch. I swear the Oscars were trying to kill me this year! LOL

Hot damn, the last part of SHIELD is looking to kick ass! Perhaps the haters will finally shut up (but I doubt it).

But I still want an Oscars ceremony where Tom Hiddleston is a presenter...preferably because he won the year before ;)
Then again, none of his films scheduled scream Oscar caliber...
Someday, he and Leo, dammit! Someday!
Matthew gives me hope because he's been awesome for two or three years now but it never felt like anyone else had noticed that before and now he won.

Nah, probably not, when Clark Gregg said what they did, the haters got all self-righteous about their hatred of it.

However, I did have a friend admit he was going to go back and watch again after that commercial so maybe there'll be more lovers to even it out more.

I agree, poor Leo is way overdue. With his luck, Cumberbatch will be nominated next year and win (not that I'd mind Benny getting one). ;)

Did you see SHIELD yet? Jaw-dropping (with a new Cap trailer as a bonus)! And Sif next week!

Every episode of Agents of SHIELD just gets better and better!

I still wish we could get a Renner cameo though...they mentioned Hawkeye in the present tense like he must still be doing stuff for SHIELD but AOS is the only one who's mentioned him...apart from Natasha's necklace in Winter Soldier. I was very pleased with all the new Natasha in that new trailer.

I was dismayed to hear that the ratings for Tuesday's ep. were low. I fear the constant breaks in the season, along with some viewers' impatience, might end up killing the show. I sure hope not. I'd hate to see it end before it reaches it's full potential. (The theories about what was in T.A.H.I.T.I. and it's possible implications are very interesting.) It's finally starting to hit it's stride, but I also hope they don't overdo it with cameos from the movie characters (although I would love to see Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Cap). The thing I always liked about this show is that they're showing the 'non-superhero' side of things.

I didn't see any of the AoS ads, so thanks for that :) Don't think I've ever seen Jimmy Kimmel [scratches head] but will definitely check out the Hemsworth clip!

The Oscars were fun to watch.

Somewhere in my head there will be an Avengers musical.
