My new headcanon is that she met the Doctor but didn't travel with him for some reason (she wanted to finish her studies at the Academy, SHIELD and the Doctor being at odds with each other, etc.). But given the opportunity, she'd go with him in a heartbeat.

She would go with the Doctor in a heartbeat. So, I don't think she's met him just yet. Poor Fitz would be left behind. The whole Fitz arc makes me worry for his aliveness by the end of this

My head canon is that somehow she met Martha or someone else that used to be his companion and they spent hours just talking and talking about how amazing it was, making her very jealous as her secret wish is to take a sabbatical from SHIELD and go on crazy, wild adventures with the Doctor.
