I'll make a greater, in-depth post on The Amazing Spider-Man 2. For now...

My mom hated it and since she also hated the last one, she now worries whether she'll ever like a Spider-Man film again. I think she will once they don't allow Avi Arad anywhere near Marvel characters.

I thought it was better than the first one, but I'm not sure whether I genuinely liked it better or because I hated the first one so much that just about anything would be an improvement.

However, if you make Felicia turn out to be Felicia Hardy, I may actually...become excited about the third one.

I can empathise with your mum. I quite liked the first of the modern Spiderman movies, the one with Kirsten Dunst? But I've hated every one since then.

It certainly didn't live up to having "amazing" in the title. It was just average and I didn't see much of villians in it. I felt more sadness for both villian characters. I think they should just give these super hero movies a rest.

I thought it was awesome. I never saw the first one, and only fleeting bits of the other movies. People were clapping at the end.

And Rhino's armor. Love it. :D

The first one really did fall a lot flatter than I expected. I'm kind of annoyed they decided to go back to the green goblin again.

I didn't really feel strongly about it either way, except that I was generally happy they had decided to cut Shailene Woodley's Mary Jane scenes from the movie. Mainly because I think the introduction of her character would have taken away from the awesomeness that is Emma Stone's Gwen! :)

*Also I'm getting kind of tired see SW on my movie screen*

I have not seen it yet, but I have heard that it was average.
