I think I may be watching too much stuff by Joss Whedon, Jane Espenson, Russell T Davies, Steven Moffat and their protogees.

On last night's Castle, instead of just enjoying the schmaltzy music and the hug...

I kept expecting one of them to be shot.

Let's talk about Castle! I LOVED THIS EPISODE SO MUCH, even though it had so many holes. Like when Kate thought she was going to die, she tried to goad the Senator into doing it so she could bring him down even in death. And when she was finally able to arrest him. So many feelings!

It was so good. It was like...YES, THIS is why I started loving Castle in the first place!

Because it has had some stuff lately that made me wonder about continuing, like I canceled my series record and I just watch it live when I can.

But that was the best show this season, love it,
I especially loved when the Chief was like, Tell me everything you know.

I was concerned with how Bracken looked like he was smiling in the cop car. I fully expect the tape to be destroyed by a corrupt cop on his payroll.

And he didn't actually admit to murder, so although his presidential hopes have been thwarted, he probably won't spend that long in jail.

He did admit to paying for people to kill people which the right lawyer can make mean the same thing as pulling the trigger himself.
