Hawkeye and Hawkguy

Okay, I admit I have been very bitchy towards Marvel of late and as much as I can reason and excuse what I want, it really boils down to one reason.

Yeah, just reading the title makes me want to throw a tantrum.

I know, I know...it should end on a high note rather than that series that got progressively worse and worse, but I still hate when my series end...Journey into Mystery, Young Avengers and now, Hawkeye.

It's made worse by Sif being forced to take a supporting, sometimes role again, the other Young Avengers, minus Kate and Loki, were shafted into a miniseries event and what does that mean for Kate?

When was the last time the Runaways were in a new comic?

At least with Clint Barton, he's in Secret Avengers and one of the first members of the Avengers...he's safe.
Kate's not.

What if Kate Bishop is sent away into Marvel obscurity?

I couldn't bear it.

I must say, while Kate grew on me as a character, I was reading the comic for Clint. (I never quite got used to the idea of two Hawkeyes, which strikes me as just ... silly. But that's just me.) Either way, ending that series is ... sad. It really packs the occasional emotional wallop. I just hope Kate and Clint reconcile before it's over...

OMG NOOOOO!!!!! I hadn't heard that yet. Am now extremely sad. :( Please to be giving us more Kate! And so much for Clint being in something currently that I actually want to read, because Secret Avengers squicks me.

Well boo on Marvel! I guess I'll just keep reading Secret Avengers and hope for some more cameo appearances of Clint in Black Widow.
