So, howard the duck was a marvel character who made fun of everything in and out of sight, did pop culture references and was occasionally dirty.

If his movie hadn't bombed, leading to his comic being canceled, would deadpool still have been created to fill that void left behind four years later?

I am not that big of a Marvel fan to know the behind the scenes about all this. I just remember the HUGE bomb of a movie that Howard turned out to be. lol...........

10 year old me would like to inform you that the movie was AMAZING and THE BEST EVER! Adult me opened her mouth, closed it, and then was grateful it bombed because man, Deadpool <3

Wow! I never saw the connection before. There are only 2 comics I've ever read: HTD back in high school and Poshen's Deadpool today.
