Now, I know Coulson has a Hot Toys figure but that's 300 dollars. I love Coulson but for 300 dollars, I'd want Clark Gregg personally involved somehow...like signing my cards or something.

However, we are finally getting a proper, sold in regular stores...ACTION FIGURE!

WITH Cobie Smulder's MARIA HILL and NICK FURY!!!

http://marveltoynews.com/sdcc-2014-marvel-legends-2015-thanos-coulson-maria-hill-photos/

SQUEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it took so long for me to find out about it! Almost two months...my news is lacking in sources or something.

The S.H.I.E.L.D agents are going to be in their own 3 pack as a store exclusive. Which store is still unknown.

Dammit.

Also, I think Kate Bishop is in Hawkeye vs. Deadpool so I will soon have three Deadpool graphic novels. I never used to be that huge of a Deadpool fan. I thought he was fun but I liked the other books better. Now, his comic seems to have all the best plots and characters.

I'd like that answer as well and if I knew how rare Sif was going to become, I would have bought her first chance I got when the first film came out.

I've asked at countless stores, not just toy stores and my comic shop is keeping an eye out for any news, nothing. The original release date was LAST November. The figure when it debuted at 2013 SDCC had a suggested sale price and was in the case with other figures to be released so I don't think it was a prototype.

I've seen Gamora but lack the $ to get her right now since she's only been released in the Legends as far as I can tell, and that and her skin looks TERRIBLE.

To me, I think the main problem with female action figures not selling is that most of them do look horrible, like they just added hair to a male mold or something.

I agree that Gamora's Legend figure and her tiny two-pack figure both look horrible. I think her best likeness would be the Blind Box Funko collectible which I want to get one of these days.

I also hate this one in a box deal. Everyone assures me that Natasha has a figure for Winter Soldier but I have never seen it. I've also only seen Falcon's figure at Disney stores.

The thing is, girl figures DO sell. Growing up I never had a Return of the Jedi princess Lea because adult men would buy her first because, 'ahaha she's hot in the bikini'

Widow didn't get a small figure, just the Legends, I somehow managed to get her at Target. Hasbro claims they'll be allowing comic shops to order individual figures but I've not confirmed this yet.

Falcon got nothing.

Only thing for Falcon I've seen is his figure for the newest cartoon.

I don't know about Legends, but the small Winter Soldier Falcon is available at some of the Disney stores. I was going to get him last time but they had a plush Bantha...

Yay, Amazon agrees I'm not crazy. This is the figure I saw.

I never use the bikini Leia argument just because of that response. Toy companies use bikini Leia as proof that female figures ONLY sell when they are half-naked and sexy.

I've never had one because it was kind of embarrassing, I'd rather reenact the Jabba killing with my Bespin figure although I had to super careful because the cape was vinyl and could rip super easy.

You raise a good point about Lea. HAha you had the Bespin Lea too? To be honest I wanted her in the Endor gear.

Oh neat, no idea why that was a Disney store exclusive, thanks I'll have to seek that out later.

Action figures is the only thing I've consistently collected my whole life, that and plushies.

I do have most of my old Star Wars toys, though many accessories are gone, during one of the many moves I went through my step mom dumped the box into a bigger box and all the weapons fell through the cracks.

Since I was less than six months old when ROTJ came out, most of my figures were from my brothers and aside from the speeder bike, they seemed to stop collecting once ROTJ came out. I also loved the Endor Leia but my main collecting, after the mid-80s "Ooh, Max Rebo Band!" clearance galore stage, was 1997-2001, and they had some awful Leias at that point. I bought the Hoth Han Solo because my brothers never got one...he was either sold out or they had no money when he wasn't. Anyway, I don't know if you remember this figure, but he had like Chris Evans proportions: extremely muscular arms with a very tiny waist. It was like that for that entire line so I generally stuck with Ewoks and things until Episode 1 figures got released.

Plushies would be a bit more with me. I love the action figures but now, it's a bit weird because I want to open them and play with them, but...you're not supposed to? It's not so much a collector thing, but a maturity thing. So lately, my figures tend to be Funko and/or Marvel related.

Ouch...my mom's carpet was and is shag carpet with green, brown and black. My mom ended up devising a system where she would save the leftover unused portions of Transformers/GI Joe sticker sheets...they were best because it was metallic...and she would put the stickers on the guns and things so they wouldn't be all black against an all black portion of carpet.

My dad took me to see ROTJ... we honestly don't know how many times. My brothers were too little to play with and every weekend I wanted to go see again. There was a theater really close to my house and kids tickets were really cheap so it would be me and him. I couldn't even read at this point but I saw it so many times I would ask my dad if I could 'read' what Jabba was saying (he would whisper to me what the words on screen were). I was in school before I realized that my dad added a line for Jabba. When R2 is going to start his play back he says something that sounds like Oh Shoot-a (like oh shoot!) and my dad would go 'I forgot the popcorn!'

I spent a summer eating the same damn cereal to send away for a ROTJ VHS of my own.

I used to keep newer figures in their packages but honestly I don't ever want to sell them and now that I'm not having to leave them stored, I open them.

I got a Rancor for Christmas one year (also got two dolls) the Rancor is hard plastic with a little thing on his back to make his mouth open and close.

I took the Rancor to bed.

Then the next day my brother fed him my princess from my Voltron lion, I was so upset (her head got stuck in the hollow tail, none of the SW figures fit in his mouth) and then the same brother chewed the head off my boba fett...

Only toys I've ever not kept it was never my choice, had many things snatched and put in the garage sale whether I liked it or not.

Most of my plushies are in plastic storage bags, like for holding blankets since our bedroomj is a semi-converted attic and this keeps them free of spiders and dust. I spent the other day repairing any tears in the plastic.

Though my office is full of my dragons and a good chunk of my dinosaurs.

A lot of people feel the $300 is worth it. They are the best figure collectibles on the market. They are so detailed that some of them could pass for the real thing in photographs.
