Oh, I felt it jumped the shark a year or two ago when I dropped it for having a supervillain in a non-comic book show.

Now, it just feels like overkill...literally.

No! Not Sweets! He was really the only good thing left when I stopped watching. Also I am rolling my eyes so hard because OF COURSE Daisy is pregnant. *g*

Yeah, I thought that as well about it being "convenient" but Carla Gallo who plays Daisy is actually pregnant so they just decided to go with it.
