Date: 2014-10-07 05:55 am (UTC)I was trying to explain to my mom who Nico was earlier and finally, I was just...you don't know Nico because he was in the third book and they only made TWO movies!
Someday, I want two things...
1. A proper reboot of Percy Jackson that would preferably go all the way but at least get to Nico and his sister.
* I remember once realizing that 90% of the Snape fanfiction where he was a romantic lead was written with Snape as a Fitzwilliam Darcy sort.
I had a similar revelation recently where I realized that the way Riordan writes Nico is how a lot of fanfic writers characterize Loki when they want him to be sympathetic. It made me wonder how many of them read Riordan.
2. A Deathday Party...I know I'm strange but I love the Deathday party so much because the ballroom with its dancing and feasting is one of my favorite sequences of the Haunted Mansion ride. Peeves would also be nice.
Then again, I was just mentioning the lack of Tom Bombadil with a friend on Facebook last week.
