On a related note to the other post:

Does anyone have an idea for a low budget costume for my coworker? She's never Cosplayed before and is going to her first convention in August. Her budget is $65 or less.

She loves anime and video games and has been bugging me to be Link with her as Zelda but I think that would exceed both our budgets.

Also, I really, really want to be Kate but I guess I've waited almost three years to be Kate, I could wait for 2016.

That and my costumes tend to get quite expensive. LOL........

Conan from Detective Conan perhaps? I figure you could get most of the outfit at a used clothing store, and if she doesn't wear glasses, a pair of fake glasses shouldn't be too hard to find.

Otherwise, maybe someone from one of the Digimon series? Some of the outfits would be hard to match exactly, but some of the characters do wear things she could probably in a used clothing store.
