Okay, sometimes StoryCorps on NPR can be sort of...mundane but this one was simply awesome:

"In February 1968, the children’s television program “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” debuted. François Clemmons was cast as Officer Clemmons, becoming the first African American actor with a recurring role on a children’s TV series. He came to StoryCorps to discuss how he got the role, and his relationship with Mister Rogers."

When I was a kid, I never thought about race like that so it was interesting and a little heartbreaking hearing Clemmons' perspective about the series and how much Rogers' changed his mind on a number of things.
