There's a really interesting site on Magneto that's VERY thorough about every mention of his religion through his comic book existence.

Did you know that he wasn't confirmed to be a Jew until the first X-Men film in 2000?

I'm not sure I have ever noticed a comic character's religion being discussed or part of a story.
