ericadawn16I guess I never made a proper post about this yet but I really enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians. I was a little concerned because the ads made it clear that Michelle Yeoh was going to be a bitch but it wasn't as bad as I feared...and that ending!!!
It was just so much fun. I love romantic comedies and you have beautiful locations and pretty people and mouth watering food. It was just so well done even without that FIRST of being the first American romantic comedy with an almost all Asian cast. Can I have Awkwafina in...EVERYTHING?
So, I want to see the next one immediately but I suppose instead, I'll read the book...but not all of them. I don't want to be too nitpicky so I'll wait for the movie to each first.
But I'm still not forgiving Jon M. Chu for what he did to Jem...
