ericadawn16I got some more books recently...and I've already finished them now!
The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún by Tolkien
-YES! It's the OTHER RING CYCLE! hehe I loved it, but guess what the Tolkien estate is sitting on?
Beowulf!!! Ever since he mentioned it in a letter, I have wanted to read Tolkien's Beowulf and they still won't freaking release it! (grr)
The Undertaker's Gift by Trevor Baxendale
-It's horrible to admit but I love the recent books. I just wish all the cute Janto-ness would have been possible without killing off Owen and Tosh.
"Ianto could get you looking clean and presentable in ten minutes flat. Do you really want me to turn him loose?"
Ianto: "'A special force called Torchwood, like the X-files but in Cardiff' Dream on, Mulder"
Jack: "I alway thought he was quite a fox"
Ianto: "This is a report written in 1919 by Torchwood Operative Harkness, J." He glanced at Jack. "Looking good for your age."
"And, gradually, Jack had come to realise that he genuinely didn't want to know. Because whatever waited there, in that undiscovered country, should remain undiscovered. It was dark and endless and utterly unforgiving. And it scared him - because although he may never encounter it, he knew the people he loved more than anything else would. They always did.
Ianto would die. He would slip out of Jack's arms for ever one day - into the cold, black embrace of death, never to return."
"And men were useless at the routine, day-to-day domestic stuff. Unless they were Ianto."
"Making coffee is an art. Trust me on this."
"How hard can it be?"
"No, Jack, really, it would be like letting a chimpanzee loose with Van Gogh's paint box."
"He was wearing a rather smart Burberry overcoat over a new suit, which hid the heavy bandages Jack knew were wrapped around his chest. A lot of the damage had been undone, but there were still sores. There would probably be scars.
But he did look good in that coat."

-It was fun, but I can't remember a lot about it, lol.
Away Laughing on a Fast Camel by Louise Rennison
-I just found out my library has all of them! I'm so happy.
I am a Dalek by Gareth Roberts
-I laughed just at the title alone: nice, short, cute.
And barring any unforeseen complications, we should be seeing Me and Orson Welles and Broken Embraces tomorrow!!!
