Okay, do I have to give up my history fangirl status if I say that I'm not planning on seeing this one? Because Henry the 8th just never interested me. Sure, he's played by Eric Bana and there appears to be a very good chance of nakedness, but...I never read the book either. I'll probably see it eventually.

I'll believe it when I actually see it. Wow, I did just see an ad, maybe it is...actually..coming...out. Yay!!! It's Christina Ricci and James McAvoy!!!! I believe there might be some sort of plot involved, but it's James McAvoy and Christina Ricci in a RomCom!!!!

I agree, I LOVE the Elizabethan period, but Henry the 8th is always "eh" to me except for "A Man for All Seasons" which was very interesting because it reminded me of Eric Liddell in "Chariots of Fire".

Even Kevin Smith waxed nostalgic once for A Man for All Seasons.
