There ended up being a mistake with the movie times so we saw Love and Other Drugs first. It was good although occasionally, it was a little strange...
Is that the Prince of Persia fucking the Princess of Genovia?
Why yes, it IS and they do it a LOT. I wasn't expecting all the nudity or Anne Hathaway's secret condition. You find out in the first half hour so I'm going to say it. Her character has Parkinson's which wasn't in the trailer and ads. The Parkinson's made it tough to watch at times.
However, it takes place in 1996 which means it has awesome '90s music AND clip from Late Night with Conan O'Brien!!! Woo! There were a couple of questionable things about being 1996. His brother compares his wife not wanting to go down on him to his dick being like Mount Doom which my brother thought was weird since it predates Peter Jackson's adaptation but I thought he had probably read the books. My nitpick was that there was a shot of a cab with a Mountain Dew ad and the ad has flavors, including White-Out whereas in 1996 you only had the choice of Mountain Dew, Mountain dew Diet or Mountain Dew without Caffeine.

Oh, it was so freaking GOOD! I want the BluRay NOW!
Everything was perfect. Everything worked and it was funny, like every age in the theatre laughing funny: from toddlers to senior citizens. There was also a lot of action and...
Must go, I'm seeing Aasif Mandvi tonight, woo!
Maximus is SO Norrington in horse form! If you had any doubts, one of the last scenes totally confirms it. It's basically the original ending to Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and I LOVED that ending even though I understand why they would change it to have Will and Jack working together. Anyway, I was so freaking happy!
Burlesque was awesome, too. Such a great cast: Stanley Tucci, Alan Cumming, Cher and Kristin Bell as a bitch...she needs to be brunette more often. Christina was perfect for the role, everyone was.
