I LOVE this movie. It's all about believing in yourself and how when you think you have to go someplace else in order to succeed, maybe all the tools were within your reach all along. I know those are trite elements in stories but they are important because they're easy to forget. It also helps when the main character is played by such a charming actor, Aasif Mandvi. He also co-wrote the script and it's extremely funny, on par with Tangled.

Go see Today's Special! Unfortunately, it's an independent film that lacks funds and studio support, but we can help that. Go on the site to see if there's a close theatre and if there isn't, demand it from your local theatre managers.

My Torchwood people will understand why this is funny.

Homer's Odyssey by Gwen Cooper

So, that's what Gwen was up to between seasons, other than having the baby.

This is what I purchased:
Harry Potter: Film Wizardry by Brian Sibley

Sibley did several of the LOTR film books.

I Married Adventure by Osa Johnson

I had never heard of Osa and Martin until I saw their exhibit at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Over eighty years ago, they were taking film and still cameras all over the world to the places no one wanted to go, like the depths of Africa. Their photos are simply amazing, both as examples of early photography in very trying circumstances and as sad reminders of the way things used to be...

Here's part of a film made in 1928 after filming in Africa over four years:
