ericadawn16: (Confused)
So, my mom and I were at Epcot last week and this was on a chalkboard that they use for trivia questions in various places:

What do people in the united kingdom call soda?

Naturally, we were intrigued. We'd assumed they called soda...sods so we asked the nice lady from Scotland, who sounded just like Amy, what soda is called. She said "pop" which was bizarre. Pop, just like a Northerner! Then, she said some call it juice which is even more bizarre still. How does that work? If I asked for an orange juice from that person, would I wind up with a Fanta?

Title: A Loss of Time and Place
Author: Ericadawn16

Rated: PG-13 ANGST AU
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Summary: Elizabeth doesn't get much sleep.
Author's Note: I started writing this right after Curse of the Black Pearl came out. It was so long ago that I didn't know James was James yet. I changed things as the other movies came out, but the majority of the story remains the same and has very little to do with the sequels.

Michael C. Hall, Sarah Silverman, Rainn Wilson, Judy Greer, Taraji P. Henson and Ron Rifkin all in one movie? Yeah, I want to see that.

Day 25 - Favorite Tardis Team

It was difficult but Doctor/Martha/Jack!

2. Doctor/Amy/Rory
3. Doctor/Rose/Jack

Day 26 - Scene/Moment that made you go ‘awww’

Hmm, how to make the Doctor even more adorable?
Ah yes...KITTENS!!!

Also, that's totally Lenora Crichlow with Martha. Seriously, when is Aidan Turner going to be on?

Day 27 - Scene/Moment that made you go ‘argh’

I think I've already mentioned more than once that this title would definitely be Donna at the end of Journey's End. However, there are other moments, like almost all of Midnight despite having Colin Morgan, and this mess...

Day 28 - Favorite Series Arc

If it weren't for how they ended, I'd say Donna, Jack or Torchwood. All had wonderful arcs UNTIL their very last appearance.

*sigh*

Watching this has made me realize my real answer...Sarah Jane Smith. She's gained a son, her own set of adventures and a kickass car. She's come off the best.

Day 29 - Favorite Music/Song

The Futurekind by Murray Gold although I thought the best season for music was the last one with Eleven.

Day 30 - Why Do YOU Love Doctor Who

Why wouldn't you love Doctor Who?

Oh, the honest answer? I didn't always love Doctor Who. When I was ten, they would show it, Blackadder and Red Dwarf late at night on PBS on the weekends. I was too young to appreciate it. Actually, I didn't get it. They were weird and the special effects reminded me of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I HATED Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

When I was thirteen, Fox had a go with the series. I watched this film about a man and his blue box who could live forever with different bodies and travel anywhere at any time. Plus, he was half-human and cute. I LOVED it. However, it didn't do well in the ratings and PBS had stopped showing them late at night. The internet was a foreign idea that the magazines and newspapers talked about. My love for the man and his blue box got tucked away into a corner.

In fall 2003, I had problems with my housemates in college. On one particular night, I was being awakened repeatedly by my phone ringing. Just after two in the morning, I turned my ringer off and turned on the tv, wide awake and annoyed. It happened to be SciFi who just happened to be showing the 1996 television movie. I fell asleep happy. My love was also rekindled by Steven Moffat's references on Coupling which I had just discovered at that point.

Day 31 - Scene that Scared You the Most

Yes, the Weeping Angels are scary but the Empty Child was the first time I'd been scared by tv since the Gentlemen.

Day 3 - Is there any of the film adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book?

Uh, all of them?

Chamber of Secrets left out the Deathday Party, Prisoner of Azkaban didn't say who created the Maruader's Map and ALL of them left out Peeves!

However, it was probably how they did the Snape flashback and leaving out the "Mudblood" part that pissed me off the most.

Day 4 - Least favorite female character and why

Uh...wow, these are really hard questions. I suppose it would be Sirius' mum. What an awful woman! Otherwise, all the women are awesome from Hedwig to Molly to Tonks.
