So, who else is excited about this weekend?

Orlando Bloom and Matthew Macfadyen and Luke Evans, oh my!

I'm also hoping for some film-inspired Athos fanfiction. I still remember when Man in the Iron Mask came out and I would make up stories about d'Artagnan and the queen. I wouldn't have dreamed of actually writing all that DOWN back then.

Does anyone have any Three Musketeers fic they'd like to recommend?

Humina Humina Humina.... Orlando and Matthew? Yes, please!

You should re-watch Man in the Iron Mask and write some of it now.

LOL

I would be more inclined if I didn't have such a long list of fic over my head as it is and I want to do NaNoWriMo this year...

:~D

I understand. I will be doing WriSoMiFu again this year, and probably failing like woah.

http://wrisomifu.livejournal.com/ (Because I won't write out the last word.)

It's for those of us not ambitious enough for NaNoWriMo but who want to write SOMETHING.

So, how does that work?

You commit to spend at least 10 minutes a day writing. Then you go to the community to check in and commiserate with your fellow mifus. We usually share word counts, brag if things went well and whine if they did not.

I've done it the last 2 years. I've never been good about doing it every day, but it's still good and I've been proud of getting some writing done.

It is. There will be sign-ups the last few days of October; I'll post to my journal about it. You should join!

Even in my flu-induced haze this week, I'm excited for this movie! (Although I'm gonna hafta wait till next weekend to see it -- let us know how it is!)

I saw the movie this afternoon and it was fun. Some things were a bit annoying (slow-motions during the fight scenes for exemple and some plot choices) and it's very different from the book but more faithful than I thought.

Lord, it's been so long since I did any looking I have no idea what's out there anymore. One of the many stories I've started, but never finished is a Highlander: The Series/The Three Musketeers crossover where Aramis discovers he's a Highlander Immortal, and he has to learn about The Game from Amanda.
