I was most amused by Republicans being fans of Jay Leno while Democrats prefer Conan.

Democrat Favorites:
Hmm, out of 21 shows, I watch on a regular basis...8.

Republican Favorites:
Out of 19 shows, I watch on a regular basis...2.
Seriously, Castle is on the Republican list and not Democrats?Same with Mythbusters? Even the First Family watched Mythbusters, they should be on both lists. Also, Top Gear? Really? Were all the Republicans surveyed secretly Jay Leno?

Democrat Least Favorites:
Out of 22 shows, I watch 5 on a regular basis, woohoo Ghost Hunters and Kitchen Nightmares!

Republican Least Favorites:
Out of 16 shows, I watch 6 on a regular basis and I'd like to see The Big C sometime. However, we totally agree about Jersey Shore...

Interesting article =]. I find it odd that The Mentalist is in the "Republican Favorites" list, since Patrick is very much a rogue when it comes to following procedure, not to mention the fact that he killed someone in a public place with several witnesses at the end of the season finale! Also, WHY IN THE WORLD don't Dems/Liberals like Ghost Hunters =/?! I haven't watched it in awhile, but I used to almost religiously. I'd think, because of the whole ghosts thing, Republicans would dislike it, because it pretty much suggests that there is an afterlife, but it's not necessarily in Heaven. As for the other favorites/least favorites, I only watch four in the "Dem/Liberal Favorites" list (and then only one of those, Shameless, regularly), and two (Dexter and The Big C) in the "Republican/Conservative Least Favorites" list.

Also, I watch Ghosthunters but still believe in heaven. To me, it doesn't disqualify heaven, just that death is very complicated. Actually, I love how it proves that real ghosts are a lot rare than people think. Most of it is scientific rather than a ghost who can communicate and understand.

I'm conservative and I must be a contrary TV veiwer. No one ever polls me LOL! It is funny though that I love Craig Ferguson and a liberal friends of mine are huge Jay Leno fans. And they don't like Conan, but I do. Go figure.

I can't believe Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs scored so low among liberal dems! Those are two of my favorite shows. LOL

Well, non of my favourite shows were on either list. I wonder what cop type shows with strong independent female leads would fall into. I seriously have a problem, but no lack of shows.
