It's so CLOSE now! I was even watching Julie & Julia the other night at 1:30 in the morning and thought I spotted Coulson during the commercials. I did!

I think I'm really starting to ship Phil and Melinda...
I also now understand why Clark Gregg doesn't mention his Acura on Twitter anymore.

I'm not holding my breath for an Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer. Each new rumor makes me that much more sad and/or furious. The past four films have literally had EVERYONE but Clint Barton. Even Wanda and Pietro Maximoff got to have a little snippet. He's never even been mentioned except for Agents of SHIELD two or three times.

I'm sick of the waiting so I'm going to pretend like it doesn't exist and when it finally does show up, it'll be nice.

And if I one more person say how it's okay because we didn't get the Iron Man 3 trailer until October, I will scream because the first general public showings of Avengers footage were at the end of Captain America: The First Avenger TEN months before the film was released. We're only seven months away now.

I just want my Hawkeye, dammit.

I love that promo, not just because it's sort of shippy, but it's so THEM, May driving Coulson back to find his sunglasses.

I can almost hear the conversation, "May... May I can't find my glasses."

May continues working.

"I think I lost them at the aqueduct."

*sighs* "fine, let's go"

I enjoyed this ep a lot more than the first one, though Skye has gone back to pissing me off. I get that she's got issues with people leaving her/being left/being forced to leave but way to take the low road and say Jemma abandoned all of them.

I really like that May's been helping Coulson through all this crap, because really he couldn't have kept hiding it.

Yay the bus is back!

Seriously, we needed to 'fridge' Hartly to get Lance to be a good guy? Ew.

I liked Mack trying to be a friend to Fitz and that at least at one point towards the end of the episode he was trying to prompt Mack for the word he was missing instead of 'mind' Simmons.

I'm loving it. I think the faster pace is more of what the complainers wanted. Normally, I'd worry about being able to maintain that kind of pacing but they are a comic book show, comic books are basically like a more violent, alien filled version of soap operas.

I had no problems with Skye, but I never really had problems with Skye? She's been through a lot of stuff this year and in order to deal with it, I think she has reverted mentally in a lot of ways, including making Phil and Melinda into surrogate parental figures. However, she needs to know at some point about the origin behind the carvings is Phil himself because of the alien blood. He said that stuff was between the two of them and now he's keeping secrets and that's going to make her abandonment/mistrust issues even worse later on.

Jemma is totally trying to be undercover and not on Phil's orders apparently?

I kind of wish we knew whether he actually confided in May or she figured it out. I still think it's related to the Terrigen Mists which is why Skye's dad wants it so much. I want to see what would happen if Phil or Skye touched the obelisk...the best theory feels it's the psyche-magnetron...the same device that gave Captain Marvel and others their powers.

Oh, that reveal at the end with the cloaked bus and Quintjet was awesome!

I never made that connection to Hartley's death but I guess they did do that in Thor: The Dark World. Lance seemed like he was more of a good mercenary anyway. My headcanon...and neither show disproved this...is that Hartley and Victoria Hand were together.

Yes, I like that Fitz is able to have small improvements, it feels more believable.

I'm excited about Mockingbird but I hope they haven't changed her Hawkeye plotline to Lance...everyone thinks she's the ex he keeps referring to.

I guess some of my stuff with Skye is she's very judgmental of some people but not others. I get she's got issues with trust, but her and Trip being 'she abandoned Fitz' 'she abandoned all of us' towards Jemma just bugged the hell out of me. But then it took awhile for me to like Skye so maybe it's just left over crap on my side.

I don't think Jemma is undercover, I think she's pursuing her own line of thinking. She didn't agree with Coulson restricting her research before SHIELD fell and she's made it no secret she's not sure why she was there before.

Also she seemed pretty pissed that Fury was secretly alive and they'd not been allowed to know.

And I'm not suggesting she thinks Hydra is more honest I'm just wanting to see what she's up to.

Plus there's no way to know if they are still using the 'incentives' program and her family was threatened.

Oh god no, I really hope they aren't doing that with Lance and Mockingbird. I'll readily admit I know very little about her but I really don't want this to be another she's in the series because of a man/her motivations to be Hydra were to get away from Lance or something.

Age of Ultron will be glorious and amazing. I don't mind waiting. I wasn't excited about Guardians of the Galaxy util the first teaser dropped. For AoU, I might actually want to remain spoiler-free until it is time.

Technically, considering Joss shafted Barton a little with Avengers, he may make it up to him in AoU. But then again, that would take away screen time from Romanoff and I really, really, really want more Natasha in all my Marvel movies (heck I want a Black Widow movie, maybe with some Hawkeye in the support cast, but alas)

Whedon has promised us better Hawkeye screen-time even though Black Widow is also supposed to get her origin story and everything. I think Steve and Thor will be the ones to get shafted this time since they're not integral to the plot.

I'm torn for a Black Widow movie between wanting her to be with Hawkeye or doing a team-up with another female like Maria Hill/Bobbi Morse/Melinda May/Carol Danvers/Jessica Jones, etc.

As mush as I love Hawkeye, I do wonder who will get shafted for the third Captain America film or whether he will simply take Nick Fury's screentime since he's still...wherever and I don't know how much they'll delve into the new Director in that one.

Unlike Renner, I do very much want a Hawkeye film but I want it based off the Fraction run with Kate Bishop and Barney Barton and since I don't know what their Young Avengers plans are...that might be never.
