How can you mess this up? Really?
The cast is awesome. It has so much potential but was just so...subpar. It took forever to get to the actual villain and while I love making fun of whiny white guys as much as the next progressive...what a weak villain! It's like being disappointed by Kylo Ren.
Of course, Chris Hemsworth is nice but they really didn't utilize him that well. I wonder how it would be now after Thor: Ragnarok. The Higgins cameo was awesome though.
Also, it is the writing because the comics with the characters are awesome.
Dammit, no, do not make Victor Garber pull a Yondu! Shh, don't bring up Jack Bristow...
