OK, I've had my iTouch for two years now which means the AppleCare Protection Plan is up. I've never actually used this thing. I just found out it included headphones and had to say, Crap. I bought headphones last year because I didn't know that. Oh well...

I've had problems but they were either resolved on my own or asking the employees without a fuss so the question is is it worth it?

What do you guys think?

If you plan on using your iPod for the next 2 years, and not buying another one, it might be. I was thinking of getting the AppleCare plan, but I was also thinking of getting an iPod that holds more. But I haven't been having much trouble with my iPod, either.

The AppleCare Protection Plan is like travel insurance. You don't what it does, you don't know what it covers, you don't know how to claim, but if you leave home without it you feel naked and vulnerable.

I have an Apple Macbook Pro. I bought it from a friend who had only used it for six months. He bought it from the Apple Store which gives you a one year warranty. So NO i don't think the whole Apple Care Plan is worth it. If there is a problem w/ your product, you have a year to find it under warranty. Also, the corporate help number is very useful!!! :) I wouldn't buy into the whole insurance hype.
